Tiger Shark (Galeocerdo cuvieri) denticles print is a photograph of the skin of a tiger shark taken with a scanning electron microscope.  The tiger shark is one of the largest sharks and one of the great top predators in warm oceans. They can reach 12-14 ft and weigh 1000-1500 pounds. Large tiger sharks are primarily predators on large sea turtles. Their teeth are adapted for sawing through the hard turtle shell.   They can cut a large loggerhead turtle in pieces that they can swallow.  Tiger sharks have a wide diet and they do not disdain any morsel. They are even scavengers, eating dead fish and dead whales.
